I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN.  I literally cut my teeth on the back of a church pew and my parents instilled a deep and rich faith tradition in my 5 siblings and me. I graduated from Bryan College in Dayton, TN with a degree in Organizational Management. In 2004 I married my high school sweetheart, Sally Jane and we set off on what has been an incredible adventure together! After two years of service at a young church plant in Northern Virginia, we moved to Louisville, KY so I could work full-time on my Master’s degree at Southern Seminary. We planted roots, I finished my degree at SBTS and served as a staff pastor at Sojourn Church Midtown. In 2019, Sally and I accepted the invitation from Rich Plass to take the helm at CrossPoint and lead it into the future.  We currently live in Louisville with our three daughters

Along with my MA from Southern Seminary, I have also completed CrossPoint Ministry’s two-year Soul Care Institute and am certified as a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP) from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals.

I am deeply passionate about helping pastors and ministry leaders have the trust and courage to believe their own claims.
