Michael grew up in the church just outside of Louisville, Kentucky. When he was 19 he began attending Boyce College at Southern Seminary where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Counseling. Michael has served in various church ministry roles including Student Pastor, Lay Elder, and Counseling Pastor over the years and has vocational experience in marketing and started a successful small business. Michael has completed CrossPoint’s 2-year Soul Care Institute training and earned a PMAP (Pastor Multiple Addiction Professional) credential from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals in Sex Addiction as well as Internet, Video Games, and Technology addiction.
In 2012 Michael was first exposed to CrossPoint Ministry after reading The Relational Soul. He has since been on a journey of self-discovery and relational health and wants to see others grow in their knowledge of self and Christ. Michael joined the CrossPoint team in February of 2021 and loves connecting with people. He is passionate about seeing them thrive in life and ministry. Michael enjoys reading, golf, and goofing off with his family. He and his wife Kristin are foster and adoptive parents in Louisville where they live with their three daughters Lilah, Cece, and Everly.
