Welcome Matt Korte

Matt comes to us most recently from Missio Dei Church in Cincinnati, where he served as the Pastor of Care and Community. This role, combined with his years of experience in various leadership positions, has honed his skills in strategic planning, team management, and organizational development. His background in pastoral ministry has cultivated his abilities in communication, problem-solving, and fostering collaborative environments – all crucial skills for his new role as our Director of Operations.

What makes Matt particularly suited for CrossPoint is his longstanding connection to our organization. He is a graduate of our CrossPoint Soul Care Institute and has participated in many of our training and coaching programs over the years. This firsthand experience with CrossPoint's mission and values will be invaluable as he helps shape our operational strategies and processes.

Now, let me share a few things that make Matt special to me personally:

Matt has a tenderhearted nature that shines through in all his interactions and has blessed me particularly on many occasions. He brings a calm, unhurried presence to his work and relationships – a quality that I believe will be a gift to me and my fast-paced nature.Matt is a devoted fan of Henri Nouwen, which speaks to his thoughtful approach to spirituality and leadership. His organizational skills are top-notch – a perfect fit for his new role!He has an appreciation for the finer things in life: good coffee, stylish hats, and quality bags. (I can't wait to see what he brings to our CrossPoing swag game!)

Most importantly, Matt brings a unique and calming presence to our team and to the amazing people we serve. His warmth and genuine care for others will undoubtedly enhance our work culture and our mission.

In his role as Director of Operations, Matt will be overseeing our day-to-day operations, developing strategic plans, managing our staff and resources, and collaborating on various organizational initiatives. His combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities makes him an ideal fit for this crucial role.

On a personal note, Matt lives on the west side of Cincinnati with his wife of 17 years, Tiffany, and their two sons, Richard and Henri.

Matt has already begun his journey with us, and most of you have already had the pleasure of interacting with him.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Matt's presence will enrich our team and our work. Please join me in giving Matt a warm welcome as he settles into his new role.
